Usually the first thing a customer says when one suggests they should build a new home is: "I have absolutely no idea where to begin".  That is where our new construction consultation comes in.  We will all sit down and go through a detailed process of finding out exactly what your ideas, goals, wants, and needs are so that we can beign the process of building you a new home.  Here is some of the things to keep in mind when building:

• Budget
• Location (i.e. by a particular school, close to work, specific subdivision)
• Home Plan Type (i.e. ranch, 2 story, 1 1/2 story)
• Future Goals (How long will you be living in your new home?)
• Needs (Things you absolutely need in the home like # of bedrooms and baths.)
• Wants (Things you would like to see in the new home, but don't necessarily need.)
• Time Frame (When would you like to be moved in to your new home?)

Randy Raper has been designing and drafting homes for over 30 years.  His onsite working knowledge of the entire building process allows him to design and build efficient floor plans allowing you to utilize the most function and space out of your new home all while incorporating the newest products and design features of today.

Sometimes designing a home from scratch can be very stressful and time consuming and we fully understand this.  That is why we also have several home plans on file, many of which we have already built.  These plans can be easily customized to fit your needs and can also be increased or decreased in size to meet your particular square footage needs. 

There are some minimal fees involved if you decide that you would like to have us custom design or customize a home plan for you.  Due to the uniqueness of each home plan we will provide a written quote upon request.  Any fees that you pay for the custom design or custimization of a home plan are non-refundable, but will be applied as a credit towards the building of your new home if you choose to build with Randy Raper Builder.

By choosing Randy Raper Builder to build your new home you will be hiring Randy Raper as "Your Home Builder" for the construction of your home.  Randy has been a builder and general contractor for over 20 years and has a full working knowledge of the entire building process.  Randy will oversee the entire process from start to finish and will guide you along the way to make sure that any of your questions or concerns are addressed. 

Communication is the key to a successful building project and we encourage constant communication with everyone involved.  We encourage regular onsite meetings!

Maybe you are looking for a general contractor to oversee your project, but would like to have some control over things.  Randy Raper Builder may be able to assist you and work with you to get your project completed.  Due to the varying degrees when dealing with individual projects there may be additional fees involved when using Randy as a genearl oversight vs. just allowing Randy Raper to be your general contractor.  Call for more information!
